The question I get asked a lot when I tell people I’m a Personal Trainer, is “why did you decide to become one?”

I became a Personal Trainer because I’m truly passionate about helping people feel happier, healthier, stronger, and more confident in their own skin. I’ve always believed that fitness isn’t just about physical strength, but also about mental and emotional wellbeing – this is part of the reason why I offer Lifestyle Coaching alongside Personal Training sessions.

Over the years, I’ve come to specialise in working with everyday people—especially those who feel like the gym isn’t “for them,” or who are starting (or re-starting) their fitness journey later in life. I also love supporting busy mums, young adults, and those who feel overwhelmed by all the conflicting fitness advice out there.

A lot of my clients come to me feeling stuck, unsure where to begin, or frustrated by stop-start progress. They’ve tried quick fixes, felt self-conscious in gym spaces, or struggled to stay motivated when life gets hectic.

How do I help?

First, we simplify things. We ditch the all-or-nothing mindset and focus on small, sustainable changes that actually fit into real life. Whether it's building confidence with strength training, moving past injuries, or creating a routine that doesn’t feel like a chore - I’ve got your back!

And I get it, because I’ve been there too. I haven’t always had it all figured out, and I know what it feels like to juggle life, motivation, and looking after yourself. That’s why I make it a point to meet every client where they’re at—with no judgement, just support, humour, and a plan that works for them.

The joy of seeing someone transform—not just in their body, but in their mindset and overall outlook on life—motivates me every day. I wanted to create an environment where people feel supported and empowered to reach their full potential, no matter where they’re starting from. It’s incredibly fulfilling to help others realise just how strong they can be, both physically and mentally.

That’s my why!

Now it’s your turn...
