Alright, Team—it’s time to drop and give me 50… okay, maybe not right this second 😅
But I am pumped (pun intended) to share that I’m officially taking part in The Push-Up Challenge this year!
What’s The Push-Up Challenge?
If you haven’t heard of it yet, The Push-Up Challenge is an epic nationwide event where thousands of Aussies commit to completing a set number of push-ups over 23 days. But it’s more than just a fitness challenge—it’s a movement to raise awareness for mental health.
From June 4–26, participants aim to complete 3,214 push-ups—a number that represents the lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2023. You can do the full number, go team-style (a.k.a Join the MWK Crew) and split them up, or even switch out the movement if push-ups aren’t your jam (squats, sit-ups, lunges—whatever works for your body).
Why I’m Doing It
As a Personal Trainer and Lifestyle Coach, I’m all about using movement to build not just strong bodies, but strong minds too. Exercise is one of the most powerful tools we have for mental health—and this challenge brings that message front and center.
Plus, I love anything that brings people together for a good cause. Whether you're smashing out reps, cheering from the sidelines, or just learning more about how to support mental wellness—you’re part of the impact.
Also? Let’s be real. I love a good push-up. 💪
How You Can Support
I’m not just doing this for fun (although fun is part of the plan). I’m also raising funds for mental health charities that are out there doing life-saving work—organizations like Lifeline, Headspace, and The Push For Better Foundation.
This year I've chosen Headspace to pass my donations on to!
If you'd like to support the cause, you can:
Donate to my page (I’ll pop the link below!)
Join in! Sign up solo or grab your mates and do it as a team. You don’t need to be super fit—just willing to give it a go.
Spread the word—the more awareness we build, the better.
Come Along for the Ride
Throughout the challenge, I’ll be sharing updates, videos, tips, and probably some bloopers along the way (push-ups in the kitchen? Maybe. Push-ups in a costume? You never know…).
So follow along on my socials and feel free to drop me a “you got this!” if you see me repping my daily dose of reps.
Let’s hit the deck and rise up, together 💥
